American Mattress Hillside at 4004 Roosevelt Road, Hillside, Illinois.

This is a mattress store that does not accept checks. When I expressed my frustration regarding this limitation a remark by the sales associate was made saying its 2017 no one uses checks anymore, I dont even have any. I replied, that is irrelevant and beyond the point. He agreed. Despite this disappointment i continued with my purchase, which was a simple mattress protector. After the purchase was complete I requested a bag for my item. The store did not have any bags. I again expressed my frustration, and sales associate asked me if I wanted to fight? I know he was joking but that was totally inappropriate. He then said, I dont know what you want me to do, I dont own the store i just work here. He did offer to find a bag in his car, i asked to use the paperbag that was on the floor. The bag that had a broken handle, so I just left and had to walk out of the store with a mattress protector in my hand as if i stole the item. I did not have a good experience here for an item that should have been a simple transaction. Maybe you will have better luck, but i dont recommend them!
