When my dad first arrived there, I felt a moderate level of comfort regarding his care.
Later, he was admitted to longterm care and everything started to decline. My family informed the pertinent staff of his current medical condition, they staff ignored us. The tumor had been left untreated and has now grown beyond treatment.
Yesterday, he started vomiting uncontrollably. The nurses placed him in bed, placed a sheet under his chin, and propped a pillow behind him so that he'd tilt to the side, then left the room. Needless to say, it did not work.
When in my sister arrived, he was on his back with vomit cascading down his front. I thank God that he did not choke.
In addition, to their lack of attention to medical needs, the staff is very careless the the patients personal needs and property.
